Ocean Kayak have given the Prowler Ultra 4.7all the practical features from the Prowler range and then added some brilliant new and innoative features teamed with the 4.7m (15' 5") performance tri-formed hull built for speed and stabilty with higher volume up front with a flared bow for a drier ride and well laid out deck area with plenty of storage up back for a live bait well and ice box make this an very effective kayak for fishing.
Features
The Prowler Ultra 4.7 has four flush mounted rod holders, and inserts ready for either a Scotty or Cannon rod holder. The New central multi functional reversible hatch cover which has been designed to house a fish finder and protects its as the cover rotates to store inside a waterproof compartment when launching or landing through surf, and a large hatch up front for dry stowage, this is sealed with a neoprene gasket and Ocean Kayaks Cross Lock hatch system for quick access. The Ultra has a flat area on the front deck which is ideal for mounting VHF or GPS antenna, and has the kept the transducer scupper mount which is unique to Ocean Kayak.
